The rates include
Starting from Yerevan, you will move to the south-east and arrive in Khor Virap in an hour. It’s a monastery, constructed in the citadel of ancient Armenian capital Artashat, with a great view to the Mount Ararat.
The next destination is Areni village – the most famous wine-making region in Armenia. At first you will visit Arpa Parnas wine and rest valley, where a big variety of local wines is presented to the visitors. You will try dry, semisweet and fruit wines here and walk to the Areni-1 cave. Here archaeologists have found a 6000 y.o. winery and the oldest leather shoe.
Then you will be welcomed by Simonyans – a multi generational family of winners in Areni village. In their cellar you will try delicious Armenian dishes and, of course, home-made wine. At the end you will visit Hin Areni wine factory, get acquainted to the modern wine-making technologies and try premium wines.
